Max has been practicing law here in Calgary since becoming a member of the Law Society of Alberta in 2017. He is highly specialized in his practice areas of residential real estate conveyancing and wills and estate planning, which allows him to convey the utmost value to his clients.
Originally from Prince Edward Island, Max maintains service-oriented, eastern hospitality when assisting his clients, and is known for his down-to-earth, approachable style. Having majored in mathematics and economics during his undergrad, Max is very analytical and can’t help thinking outside of the box when solving legal problems.
Admittedly a bit of a thrill seeker, when not in the office you’ll find Max outdoors, likely barreling down a mountain or river, jumping out of a plane, or playing any number of team sports.

Brian focuses his practice in the areas of Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial and Wills and Estates. After being born in a small town in Alberta, and growing up in beautiful British Columbia, he attended Simon Fraser University in Burnaby where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration concentrating in Finance. Thereafter, he returned to Alberta to attend the Law School at the University of Calgary where he achieved his Bachelor of Laws.
Prior to joining Clark & Clark, Brian articled and practiced at a large international law firm in downtown Calgary and was called to the bar in 2011. There he acted on large commercial real estate acquisitions, divestitures and leasing matters while representing major Canadian REITs and fast food restaurant chains as well as borrowers and lenders in secured financing transactions.
Since then, he has broadened his scope to include Residential Real Estate transactions, Wills and Estates and smaller private financings while working at smaller firms and running his own practice. Brian’s varied experience working at the large firm, small firm and solo practitioner levels allows him to offer excellent legal advice informed by sound business principles to his clients no matter the size or dollar value. Brian is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and a member of the Southern Alberta Real Property Subsection and Business Law (South) Subsection of the CBA. Brian’s energy, whether it be in his practice or in the mountains and lakes where he loves to recreate, is contagious.

Ken Keeler is another native Calgarian – who remembers the Calgary General Hospital! Ken was so eager to start work following graduation that he sold his 56’ Chevy and travelled in Europe for a year. Following articles, Ken practiced Oil & Gas Law from 1977 until 1985, lastly as general counsel for a major natural gas exporter. In 1985 he established Keeler Law Firm focusing on real estate, Wills and Estates. From 1991 until 1996 the Keeler Family took a “sabbatical” from law and moved to Chicago where Ken was the president of a major youth organization. In 1996, Ken re-established Keeler Law Firm specializing in residential and commercial real estate transactions. Beginning in 2005 when Ken sold his practice to a mid-size firm, he has enjoyed part-time work with Clark & Clark. Ken loves helping people understand their house deals which are usually the largest transactions of their lives.
