Brian Twerdoff

BA, LLB

Brian focuses his practice in the areas of Real Estate, Corporate/Commercial and Wills and Estates. After being born in a small town in Alberta, and growing up in beautiful British Columbia, he attended Simon Fraser University in Burnaby where he obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration concentrating in Finance. Thereafter, he returned to Alberta to attend the Law School at the University of Calgary where he achieved his Bachelor of Laws.

Prior to joining Clark & Clark, Brian articled and practiced at a large international law firm in downtown Calgary and was called to the bar in 2011. There he acted on large commercial real estate acquisitions, divestitures and leasing matters while representing major Canadian REITs and fast food restaurant chains as well as borrowers and lenders in secured financing transactions.

Since then, he has broadened his scope to include Residential Real Estate transactions, Wills and Estates and smaller private financings while working at smaller firms and running his own practice. Brian’s varied experience working at the large firm, small firm and solo practitioner levels allows him to offer excellent legal advice informed by sound business principles to his clients no matter the size or dollar value. Brian is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and a member of the Southern Alberta Real Property Subsection and Business Law (South) Subsection of the CBA. Brian’s energy, whether it be in his practice or in the mountains and lakes where he loves to recreate, is contagious.
